Subscribe & Download is a plugin that allows to distribute files through subscriptions. If people want to download something from your website or from third party websites they must submit their contact details. After submission they receive encrypted temporary download link by e-mail. Very simple workflow. All submitted data is saved in database or can be sent to MailChimp, AWeber, iContact, GetResponse, Campaign Monitor, Mad Mimi and MyMail autoresponders. All saved data can be exported as CSV-file to be used with any other newsletter systems. Subscribe & Download is a perfect way to extend functionality of your website.

Front End Functionality
The best way to understand the idea of Subscribe & Download is to see live example. Click “Live Preview” or visit demo link. On “Live Preview” website you can subscribe and receive download link by e-mail.
Install and activate the plugin like you do with any other plugins. Once activated, it will create a menu “Subscribe & Download” in left side column in the admin area.
Click left side menu “Subscribe & Download >>> Settings” and do required settings. Set your e-mail address for notifications, e-mail template, autoresponders parameters, etc.
Go to any post/page edit page and insert shortcode like that: [sdfile url="http://download-link-goes-here"] [sdfile url="http://download-link-goes-here" title="New Intro content goes here."] – overload intro content by inserting attribute “title”. [sdfile url="http://download-link-goes-here" narrow="1"] – display narrow opt-in form. [sdfile url="http://download-link-here" redirect="http://redirect-url-here"] – redirect subscribers after submission.
Shortcode is replaced by opt-in form automatically.
That’s it! Enjoy using the plugin.

5 starts for the actual plugin and what it offers, as well as customer support. Thank you!You can have different download files for each subscription form you create using the shortcode provided in the documentation. I had two subscription forms on one page which had the same download link. The form was in the sidebar and at the very bottom of the page (since it was a relatively long informational page). The only snafu was, when testing both forms with my personal email, I would get the download email but with an invalid link. The reason for this is because each email address only allows for one same download link. In reality, a visitor would only submit the form once, which is a valid and logical point, but when I was testing to make sure each form was working, I got worried this plugin was not right for me.HOWEVER, the support is GREAT and Ivan was very patient with me, explaining the how and why. So, basically, this plugin is perfect and if you have multiple forms with the same download link as I did, you'll need at least two emails to test it out. Thank you!
